Privacy policy
This site republishes the Cyprus company register, which contains the names of company officers and the addresses their companies are registered at. That is personal data, so here is exactly what we publish, why, and how to get it taken down.
If you are named here as a company officer, you can ask us to remove those pages. You do not need to give a reason, and we reply within one month.
Who is responsible

What personal data appears here
Two things. First, the names of company officers — directors, secretaries and authorised persons — together with the companies they are appointed to and the position they hold. Second, registered office addresses, which for smaller companies are often someone's home address. We do not publish dates of birth, ID numbers, signatures, shareholdings, financial accounts or scanned documents, because the open dataset does not contain them.
Where it comes from
Everything is taken from the open dataset published by the Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property through data.gov.cy under a CC BY 4.0 licence. We do not collect anything from you, buy data, scrape the registry, or combine it with any other source. The register is public by law; this site reorganises what is already published so it can be searched and linked.
Why we publish it
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: making a public register that already exists genuinely usable, so that anyone dealing with a Cyprus company can check who runs it. We weigh that against the interests of the people named, which is why we publish nothing beyond the register, never assert that two similarly spelled names are the same person, and remove personal details on request as set out below.
What we do not do
There are no user accounts, no login, no newsletter and no way to submit personal data to this site. We run no advertising, sell no data, build no profiles, and score or rank no individuals. We do not enrich the register with sanctions lists, credit data, social media or anything else.
How updates work, and why corrections belong at the source
The site is rebuilt monthly from the published dataset. That matters for corrections: if a detail here is wrong and the underlying register still says otherwise, the next rebuild will bring it straight back. To fix the record itself you must go to the Registrar. What we can do independently is suppress a page here, which survives rebuilds.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, object to us publishing it, or ask us to erase it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within one month. Because we hold nothing beyond what the public register contains, a request is usually resolved by suppressing the pages that name you.
Getting your details removed
When we accept a removal request we set a suppression flag against the record. The affected pages stop being served, drop out of our sitemap, and are marked so search engines deindex them. Suppression is stored separately from the imported data, so a monthly rebuild does not undo it.
Your details remain in the official register, which we do not control and cannot amend, and they may remain in search engine caches or on other sites for some time. We may keep publishing information about a company itself, as distinct from a named individual, where the legitimate interest in company transparency outweighs the objection.

Changes to this policy
If we change what we publish or how we handle it, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
